The reiki practice group is basically where we chat about anything reiki related e.g. experiences to share, questions to ask, different applications of it etc then we carry out a reiki healing session as a group
I was always the one asking all of the questions as there was so much to understand. Well it was kinda mind blowing all this energy work. We got talking about Angels and Guides as this seems to be an option for calling for assistance when carrying out reiki healing, but I didn't understand how they could ask for Angels and Guides let alone see them and I couldn't!! Do you have to be introduced? How do you know who they are? How does it work?!! Why can't I see them? Do you have to be 'chosen'?
'Well, just ask' my reiki master said. Whaddya mean just ask? That was it, just ask for them. Hmmmm - not sure about that one.
So it was my turn to receive the reiki and off I drifted but thinking 'okay Angels, I would like to be introduced to you so hello!.....?'
Okay so there were 4 people in the group including me - so that's 3 pairs of healing hands giving me reiki. 1 person is always at the feet (to keep you grounded). So that's just 2 pairs of healing hands available.....but I definitely felt more healing hands than humanly possible!!
It was an awesome experience and it was that night that I started to believe that there could actually be 'other beings' that existed. I tried to take a sneaky peek to see if I could see any Angels during my reiki session but I didn't. I did however, realised that the 2 people either side of me where not where I thought they were! But I was sure they were both there, by my side, I could feel them, but they were not there, they were on the other side of me, whoooah...this is too much.
Since that night I have bought books on Angels to try and understand them a bit more (see book list) and have been shown many signs from them. I now call upon them everyday to help out from removing the negative energies picked up from the day (stressed people at work and tube) to getting them to assist in the reiki healing I provide to my friends. Even they say that they have felt 'extra' pairs of hands or thought I was by their arms, when I was at their head for example. I don't know all the Angels, but I guess it doesn't matter? I now believe.
I have come to learn, like with most things, everybody will have different ways of 'communicating' with Angels. I don't actually see them - but I feel their energy, (and now see flashes of light) and I get an image in my minds eye of their name or just a sense of knowing.
Some people hear things, some people see lights, some people feel their presence, some will get visual clue card in their minds eye. But I guess you don't have to try to hard. Once I had read a couple of the books I found that I was trying too hard to try and see and hear them, and then nothing happened...then I tried too hard to...well, relax!! Doh! They will show you signs at the appropriate moments, or when you least expect it. If you don't see their signs when you need to, they will make it bloomin' obvious that you do! That is for sure! i.e. repeat the messages/images several times. They might even put it in a big poster for you! (Yeah more on that later!)
I used to live in a shared house on the ground floor and I was just tidying my room, when I heard someone say my name from outside my window. I thought my housemate had forgotten her keys again. So I went to the front door, but no-one was there!
I know a friend said he knows Archangel Michael is present as he sees a sword which seems to be symbolic to that Angel
There are many different Angels that can assist you. They maybe called different things in different cultures. But yeah, they are there to help you if you are open to it :-) So what are you waiting for? Give them a call and get yourself introduced, they already know who you are.
