Mental Slideshow

I've been quite a regular at the Reiki practice groups and basically keen to understand more about it and just well being amongst people that didn't judge me at all.

This is what I would imagine school should have been like.  You are encouraged to learn and express yourself without any judgement. You are guided not dictated to and all the other students don't have their egos getting in your way either.  We are all 'gifted' in some way, some are just more open than others.  Most people have been 'shut down'/closed at an early stage as a defense mechanism as things are a bit too traumatic when they come to this planet. Or they shut down because of a traumatic experience in life or are conditioned to think in a certain way.

Anywho...back in the 2009 sessions I had been getting seemingly random images of people in my head whilst I was doing reiki.  I thought my mind was going for a wander and thinking that it was maybe people of the telly or the tube and so shook it off and got back to the session.

I told my Reiki master about it - and he said well, next time allow those images to come forward and just ask if they have a message.  What? Really? But my head made them up....right? I just have a busy mind.

So once I relaxed a bit more, more 'random' images came through and I asked in my minds eye if they had a message.  I felt a bit stupid to say the least.  Nothing did come through - but that's because I was cynical about it.  I so I just left it there. I obviously wasn't 'gifted' so I thought to myself.

But then, yeah you guessed it I got the confirmation I needed. Which thinking about it now it was more about trusting and believing in myself more.

I had started doing the Reiki trials in April in order to gear up to become a Reiki practitioner which involves basically seeing up to 30 different individuals over 6 months to get some experience in.

So my friends and family came forward to get their free session.  One dear friend I had not seen for ages came over to see me.  She had been having a tough time at work and she had lost her mother a couple of years ago.  She was intrigued as most people were about how reiki would help her.

So we did the session and bam - I got an image of a elderly lady.  Yup again I thought okay - I know about her mum and my mind is making this up.  A generic picture of a lady with glasses and grey hair and blue top and cardigan. Anyone can think of that. So just continued with the reiki session.

She felt very relaxed afterwards and said she had an awesome session.  We went for dinner afterwards and had a good old natter.  We talked about her mum and she showed me a picture of her...then there it was...confirmation.

No not just a picture of her mum, but with another lady. It was not her mum I saw in the reiki session, but her gran!! The same blue top and cardigan and glasses. haha! Wow.  I swear I had never seen this photo before.

Okay next time I get an image I will ask for a message!

I find that it does not happen with everyone.  But when it has, and if that person is open to it, I will tell them.
I hope to get the messages correct as that is the most difficult part, not to let your head/ego get in the way!

Sparkly Lights!

Nope, I haven't been whacked around the head and started seeing stars!

I'm not sure when I started noticing the little flashes of light but it's been happening more and more as I am more 'open' to it especially this year I would say.  I didn't realise what they were, but they were more noticeable once I read this particular book (The Power of the Magdalene) where I saw little blue lights coming from the pages.  They are like little Tinkerbell-esq lights (with out the sound effects!)  I can see them now as I am typing!

I have seen them before during my reiki sessions and realised that they were beings of light e.g. Angels, guides, ascendent masters.  I've mainly seen them more around books and around people who have consciously called on beings of light, and even friends who are unaware of this but have guides around them.

Most of them are light blue in colour and some are white.  I've only seen 1 red one so far.  Will hope to find out more if different colours represent different beings of light. 

I was looking out my window the other day then I saw electric blue sort of dust moving before my eyes or like electric mini maggots moving around the air. I could only see it though in day light as I tried again at night - but it was not happening.

When I do Reiki on myself and place my hands over my 3rd eye, I now notice I can 'see the energy' it's like green waves of energy. It's lovely and frikkin' awesome!!!

I don't need to go to specsavers!
